"Fast Frank"
Standardbred Speed Racking Gelding
I went down to Kentucky to look at a mare that was suppose to be Super Fast and Pretty. Turns out that mare was too Fast and Way to Hot for us.
It was cold out with snow and ice so we went into the barn to warm up. There was a couple of guys riding inside the barn. They were having FUN racing up and down the center isle.
I noticed one of the guys had a saddle that was different, sort
of like a Buena Vista. I wanted to ride his saddle. I got up and started riding this horse up and down the isle.
Next thing you know I was racing up and down the barn.
I soon forgot about the saddle because I was having so much FUN riding this horse.
What a ride, Smooth & Fast!
I had such a good time racing around and hot dogging Frank,
I bought him. Since I hurt my hip I can't ride trotty horses. Frank is smooth from first gear all the way to wide open. Frank's gait transitions are so smooth it feels like automatic transmission.

Frank is one of those horses that will carry saddlebags full of beer? Yep, I was told that he will carry a 30 pack and never miss a lick. We don't drink but for those who do that might be note worthy. To us it means that he is willing to do whatever is asked of him. He has great easy going tempermant but not a dead head, with a kiss he will cruise out to 24 mph and he's racking all the way, keg shod. Frank has hundreds of trail miles on him. He was clocked on the Radar gun at East Fork at 24 mph. We thank God for the Blessings of Frankie.
